Real estate answering service for agents and teams
Short answer
A real estate answering service answers your line while you’re showing a house, driving or at the closing table, and makes sure the calls that make you money don’t hit voicemail. AIReceptionistGo is a 100% AI receptionist that answers in your name, says it’s an AI, books seller appointments and showings in your calendar, and puts offers and deadlines through to you at once. Every lead reaches your inbox with name, number and what was booked.

When real estate calls come at the wrong time
It’s 1:15 on a Saturday in Boise. You’re running an open house across town, walking a couple through the kitchen while two more families wait in the living room. Your phone buzzes in your pocket three times.
One is a buyer agent with a question about Monday’s offer deadline. One is a homeowner two streets over who wants to talk about selling this spring. One is a buyer who drove past your sign. If the homeowner hits voicemail, the next agent they call gets the listing.
How the call goes
-
Who’s calling, and about what
A seller, a buyer, a client already under contract, another agent. The AI asks first, because each one goes somewhere different.
The AI says: “Are you calling about buying, selling, or a home you’re already under contract on?”
-
Sellers: the address and the timeline
The address, when they’d like to move and whether they’re already talking to another agent. Then a listing appointment in your calendar.
The AI says: “What’s the address of the home, and when are you hoping to move?”
-
Buyers: which property
The listing, the sign or the ad they saw, whether they’re working with an agent, and a showing time. The full buyer call is in our real estate showing request script.
The AI says: “Which property are you calling about?”
-
Deals in progress go straight to you
An offer, a counteroffer, an inspection or appraisal problem, a closing that’s slipping: the AI puts the call through, or emails you at once if you can’t pick up.
The AI says: “That’s time-sensitive, so I’m putting you through to Corinne now.”
-
Confirm and send the lead
Name, number, what they want and what was booked. A showing or appointment is confirmed only once it’s saved in your calendar.
The AI says: “You’re booked for Tuesday at 5. I’ll text you the confirmation.”
What counts as urgent
For a listing agent or a small team, this is where we start. You decide what reaches you mid-showing.
| Situation | What happens |
|---|---|
| An offer, a counteroffer, or a deadline today | Put through to you now, or emailed at once |
| A client under contract, or their lender or title company: inspection, appraisal or closing problem | Put through to you now |
| A homeowner who wants to sell | Priority lead: listing appointment booked, or put through |
| A buyer who wants to see a listing | Showing booked if the listing is bookable; otherwise a request you confirm |
| Another agent asking about a listing | Message, or put through, by your rules |
| A motivated seller calling your investor line | Address, condition and timeline taken; callback from you |
| Rentals, vendors, general questions | Message, or the answer you set (for rentals, your property manager’s number, for example) |
What it never says on these calls
- What a home is worth, what it should list for, or whether an offer is a good one.
- Your commission or fees.
- Anything about the neighborhood’s people, safety or schools. Every caller gets the same facts from your listing details.
- Anything about another buyer’s offer or the seller’s reasons for selling.
- An appointment or showing that isn’t saved in your calendar or approved by you.
What you decide
- Which calls reach you mid-showing: offers, deadlines, sellers, clients under contract.
- Your listings and your calendar: what it may say about each listing, which are bookable, and your windows for listing appointments and showings.
- Showing safety: whether buyers you haven’t met are asked for a photo ID or to meet at your office first; every buyer hears the same thing.
- Qualifying questions, asked the same way to everyone, in English or in Spanish on the same number: pre-approval, timeline, whether they need to sell first.
- Team routing: which agent gets which lead, and who covers when you’re away.
We set it up the way you want and you approve the final version.
Why this works for real estate agents
Our call protocols come from nearly two decades of running phone reception for small businesses. In real estate, the most valuable call of the week often comes while you’re busy with the second most valuable. It knows when to hand over: offers and deadlines reach you now, everything else waits for your summary. It never promises what you don’t: no values, no commissions, no “great schools.” More on our method, and on how every lead arrives ready for follow-up on lead intake and qualification. Rental managers use our property management answering service; every sector is on industries.
What it costs
There’s no monthly fee to start: on Pay As You Go, each answered call is $0.99, so a slow month costs little and a busy one never costs more per call. Busier teams can move to the 50-Call Plan, with 50 calls for $29 a month. Every plan is laid out on pricing.

Your month, by plan
Best fit: 50-Call Plan, $29.00
- Pay As You Go Best fit $29.70
- 50-Call Plan Best fit $29.00
- 100-Call Plan Best fit $49.00
What the month would cost on each plan: the monthly fee plus each call past the ones included.
Questions real estate agents ask
What does a real estate answering service do for a solo agent?
It answers every call when you can’t: a real estate call answering service for showings, closings, the road and after hours. It books listing appointments and showings in your calendar, puts offers and deadlines through to you, and sends you a summary of the rest. For a solo agent, that means the listing appointment gets booked while you’re still in the showing, not after three callbacks.
Is a virtual receptionist for real estate different from an answering service?
Call it either; what matters is the rule set. A realtor virtual receptionist or an AI receptionist for real estate is judged on three things: which calls reach you mid-showing, what it may say about each listing, and that nothing is booked that isn’t in your calendar. An answering service for realtors that can’t hold those three rules is just voicemail with a voice.
Will it pre-qualify buyers?
Only with the questions you choose, such as pre-approval or timeline, and asked the same way to every caller. It doesn’t judge whether a buyer is serious and doesn’t turn anyone away. The answers go in your summary, so you decide who to call first.
Can I use it as an answering service for real estate investors?
Yes. On an investor line, it takes the property address, the condition, the seller’s timeline and how to reach them, then sends the lead to you. It never makes an offer, names a figure or says whether you’ll buy. Each lead arrives in the same format, so you can compare them.
Does it work as an answering service for mortgage brokers?
It can answer a broker’s line, take the caller’s details and what they’re looking for, and book a call with you. It never quotes a rate, never says whether someone will qualify for a loan and never asks for a Social Security number. Those conversations are yours.
Keep every seller call
Get started asks which calls must reach you, what it may say about your listings and when you take appointments, and we build your protocol from that with setup free of charge. You approve it before you forward your number (how it works).
